Who are we

A little about me

Hello, I’m Najeya, the founder of OALA Home and a mother of two daughters. I have always been drawn to creating homes that feel both functional and nurturing, spaces that support the people living in them rather than overwhelm them. My professional journey began over a decade ago in the home services industry, where I built a strong reputation for organisation, attention to detail, and helping households run smoothly. Over time, that experience deepened into a true understanding of how much the environment of a home impacts daily life.

After living abroad in the United States with my family, I stepped away from business to become a full time stay at home mother. It was during this season that I gained a deeper, more personal understanding of the invisible weight so many parents carry. The constant balancing act, the mental load, the way small daily tasks can quietly build into overwhelm. I also witnessed how structured in home support was more commonly embraced overseas, particularly during pregnancy and the newborn stage. That experience shaped the vision for OALA Home.

Now based in Melbourne, I combine my lived experience as a mother with my background in interior design to provide hands on parent support for early family life. My work focuses on supporting families from pregnancy through the first months at home, helping create calmer, more functional spaces through thoughtful organisation and simple, sustainable systems. I have a genuine love for babies and find deep fulfilment in supporting families during this tender stage, offering calm assistance with newborn settling while parents remain present. My role is not to take over, but to work alongside families, bringing steady support, structure, and breathing room back into the home.

My goal is simple: to help families experience early family life in a home that feels lighter, more manageable, and supportive rather than overwhelming. A space that feels calm, functional, and safe for everyone within it.
